The Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (MENASA) has been one of the world's booming regions in the last couple of years. MENASA recorded a combined GDP of USD 8.3 trillion in 2012, achieving a growth rate of more than 3.5 per cent over the previous year. With sustained long term growth plans and anticipated revival of the global economy in the next two to three years, the combined GDP of MENASA is expected to reach USD 12.3 to 12.8 trillion by 2022-23.
